Wildlife on the Schuylkill River Trail

It was a gorgeous day for a bike ride on the Schuylkill River Trail, and it also turned out to be a good day for wildlife viewing. Leif spotted this red-tailed hawk in a tree. We stopped to look and take a picture. I think it was injured because it let us get within about 20 feet before it flew away...

We also came across a snake that was right in the middle of the bike trail. I saw it and yelled at Leif just in time before he ran it over...
