Christmas in Hagerstown

We had a great visit with the family. Everyone had plenty of presents to open and good food to eat.

Valley Forge National Historic Park

We took a trip up to Valley Forge National Historic Park on Saturday morning. Coats and hats were a necessity...



The boys climbed on some cannons...


Explored some cabins...


And even pretended to nap in the bunks...

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house this year. My parents, my sister, and an longtime friend, Brian (aka Flick) were able to join us. It was a great festive atmosphere and the wine flowed freely. Plus WVU destroyed PItt. It couldn't have gone any better.

Visit with the Parkers

We went to the Parker's house in Shepherdstown. Kade was pushing Hazel on a riding toy...


We all went to City Park in Hagerstown.

Kade's 3rd Birthday

Happy birthday Kade!! This was the first year Kade actually blew out his candles...


He was able to blow on the party favor too...

Halloween

Here is Kade at his Halloween parade at school. He was going to get into full skeleton costume for trick or treating, but he split his chin that evening and went to the emergency room instead.


Leif was a vampire with reptile hands...

Ridley Creek State Park

It was a beautiful fall day so we took a bike ride at Ridley Creek.


Kade loves riding on the back of a bike. The problem is getting him off the bike...

Fairmount Park, Philadelphia

Fairmount Park is huge! I think around 4000 acres right in downtown Philly.

The Philadelphia Art Museum is part of the park...


Logan and Leif were able to rock climb right behind the museum...

Baltimore Science Center

Ashley and my mom took the boys to the Baltimore Science Center while I put a new floor down in Ashley's house.

Hershey Park

We went to Hershey Park and had a great time. We also got to visit my grandparents, Bob and Shirley, who live in Hershey. Unfortunately they weren't able to join us at the park.

We were able to get the boys to stand still for a second at the entrance (sort of!).


The boys had lots of fine riding rides...






Kade learned how to wait in line...


I'm sure Leif deserved to be "shut up" here or Logan was just being mean...


Leif was sooooo excited to ride the roller coasters. Well he rode the Comet, a big, old wooden coaster, but it scared him enough that he didn't want to ride any others.
