Beth joined me on a trip to Elkins for a meeting with the National Forest silviculturists. We passed windmills and caught a sweet sunset near Thomas...



Beth and Floyd went for a hike at Otter Creek during my meeting...


After the meeting Beth and I met up with Will Wallace for a great camping trip in the Monongahela NF. We camped in the Seneca Creek National Recreation area...

New Pool at the Parker's

The Parker's have done a sweet job constructing their new pool. Those boys (and girl) are sure to have a great summer!

Father's Day

For Father's Day we went into the city to visit the Academy of Natural Sciences and get cheesesteaks. We have been living in the Philly area for nearly 3 years now and had yet to visit one of the 'real' Philly cheesesteak restaurants. We went Geno's and it was pretty good but honestly it wasn't much different than any other cheesesteak.

The new skyscraper going up downtown is taller than any other building in Philly...


The Academy of Natural Science's new exhibit about life in the Amazon River was excellent...







Kade loved the museum but I think he enjoyed watching traffic from the bridge even more...

After getting home from Philly and relaxing for a bit we went to the Father's Day Festival in Phoenixville...

After dinner we finished up the day with ice cream...

Skateboards!

The boys all got skateboards from us for Logan and Leif's birthday...

Water Gun Battle

Logan and Leif got some awesome water guns for their birthday. They went outside to try them out and watered some of the trees we recently planted at the park behind our house...




Some of their friends came over and they ended up having a massive water battle. Logan and Leif did 'rock, paper, scissors' to see who picked first when they chose teams...
