Father's Day

For Father's Day we went into the city to visit the Academy of Natural Sciences and get cheesesteaks. We have been living in the Philly area for nearly 3 years now and had yet to visit one of the 'real' Philly cheesesteak restaurants. We went Geno's and it was pretty good but honestly it wasn't much different than any other cheesesteak.

The new skyscraper going up downtown is taller than any other building in Philly...


The Academy of Natural Science's new exhibit about life in the Amazon River was excellent...







Kade loved the museum but I think he enjoyed watching traffic from the bridge even more...

After getting home from Philly and relaxing for a bit we went to the Father's Day Festival in Phoenixville...

After dinner we finished up the day with ice cream...
